1. Meghalaya: Local taxis allowed to ply in Shillong at 15 per cent, vaccination certificate mandatory

At a review meeting held on Friday, the Meghalaya government has decided to allow 15 per cent of local taxis to operate in Shillong from June 28 onwards.

Mizoram has so far administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination to 76 per cent of its population aged 45 and above. 

3. Assam: Double-dose vaccine beneficiaries exempted from mandatory tests at airports and railway stations

The Health and Family Welfare Department of Assam, modifying its earlier order on Friday, stated that those who have received the two doses of COVID vaccine will no longer have to undergo mandatory tests at Airports and Railway Stations.
