1. Meghalaya: Man's body found hanging from tree in Upper Shillong

The body of an unidentified man was found hanging from a thin branch of a tree in a jungle at Upper Shillong in East Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya, on Friday.

2. Assam: Ten BCPL employees test Covid-19 positive

Ten employees of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam.

According to sources, most of the employees, who contracted the virus, had come from other states.
