1. 70-year-old woman set ablaze in Arunachal fire

An elderly woman was charred to death when a fire broke out at her residence at Kunu-Yami Village under Kamba Circle of West Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh.

2. Only traditional Assamese gamosa to be used at govt programmes

To support and promote locally available products, only hand-woven gamosa, and traditional food items will be used during government programmes, the State Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made this decision on Wednesday.
