1. Tripura: Kokborok language to be used for official communication in TTAADC

The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has ordered all offices in the Council to accept any application written in the indigenous language - Kokborok, with an aim to popularise Kokborok as an official language of the state.
