UG, PG examinations postponed in Tripura

AGARTALA:

Colleges in Tripura have postponed all semester examinations of various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the Higher Education Department of Tripura said in an official notification released on Sunday.

“In view of the rapid increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the State, and considering the safety and security of the students from the surge of the pandemic, the Higher Education Department of the State has postponed all semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate examinations of all affiliating and private universities operating in the state with effect from 26th April 2021 until further orders,” the notification read.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Tripura now stands at 627.
