Tripura: Pradyot Kishore Debbarma slated to be next CEM

The Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance and Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra members in a meeting held at Ujjayanta Palace elected Pradyot Kishore Debbarma as the next Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Autonomous District Council. 

It may be mentioned that the result for the ADC election, which was declared on April 10, saw TIPRA Motha grab 16 seats and ally INPT (Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra) winning 2 seats. 

According to sources, royal scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma met with Governor Ramesh Bais and placed demands for the formation of a new council in the ADC.

The 18 members who won the ADC election met on Sunday. 

The former state Congress president Pradyot Manikya said that work will be carried out in a fair manner in the ADC.
