GANGTOK:
Thunderstorms caused severe property damage in several parts of Sikkim on Friday evening.
According to reports, heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds uprooted trees and caused massive property damage at the Sikkim Manipal Institute campus.
While Simon Lingzey village reported heavy crop damage, Namcheybong village under the Pakyong subdivision experienced a hailstorm and strong winds.
Meanwhile, the NDRF is helping the public clear out the roadblocks and debris from the area.
