The Government of Nagaland has announced that it would provide free COVID-19 vaccination to everyone over 18 years of age.

State spokesperson and advisor Mmhonlumo Kikon said there is no shortage of vaccines in the state and informed that a total of 1,86,350 vaccines had been administered so far. 

"Nagaland has a minimal wastage of vaccines, and the state is fully prepared to tackle the second wave," he said.
