Nagaland Govt to continue with free rations for daily wage earners

The food rations will be distributed through the District Task Forces and people have been advised to continue adhering to all the COVID protocols laid by the government.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has announced that the state government will continue to provide food rations to the people in distress and daily wage earners affected due to the COVID imposed restrictions.

The food rations will be distributed through the District Task Forces and people have been advised to continue adhering to all the COVID protocols laid by the government.

"To mitigate the hardships caused to distressed persons and daily wage earners, the state government will continue its assistance activities by distributing food rations through the District Task Forces. Please continue to adhere to #COVID19 appropriate behaviour and stay safe," Rio said.

It may be mentioned that the Nagaland Government has extended the lockdown in the state till June 18, 2021.
