People's Democratic Front (PDF) president, Banteidor Lyngdoh on Tuesday informed that of the three assembly seats, the party will field candidates from Mawryngkneng and Mawphlang constituencies for the ensuing bye-election on October 30.
"I cannot take the decision alone. In a day or two we will hold a meeting with party members and accordingly decide on candidature,” Lyngdoh said.
Lyngdoh, however, hinted that the names of the candidates from Mawryngkneng and Mawphlang will be announced on October 1 or 2.
When asked if the party will campaign for the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) partners contesting from Rajabala constituency, Lyngdoh maintained that too will be decided later on.
