NYAFI laud state government for approving the Meghalaya Youth Policy 2021

The National Youth Awardees Federation of India (NYAFI) Meghalaya Chapter has praised the state government for approving the Meghalaya Youth Policy 2021.

In a statement issued here, the federation informed that it had submitted its recommendations and suggestions to the state government in 2009, but there was no headway.

The federation stated that back then, the federation was not consulted, even though it had submitted its recommendations and suggestions.

The federation said that after 2020 through the initiative of the National People’s Youth Front, the federation was able to discuss thoroughly the need to have a state youth policy with Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
