NIT Meghalaya improves on NIRF rankings, ranked 59th among all engineering colleges in India

SHILLONG:

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya has improved its position in the recently released National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 rankings, jumping up two places to secure 59th rank among all the engineering colleges in the country.

A statement issued by the institute on Monday read, “Last year the institute secured 61st position in the same category. NIT Meghalaya is now ranked 14th among all the 31 NITs in the country and 1st among all newly set up NITs functioning since 2010."

The statement further mentioned that NIT Meghalaya with its rapid infrastructural, academic & all-around growth has overtaken many old and established NITs, and other renowned institutes.

The Director of the institute, Prof. B.B. Biswal has expressed heartfelt thanks and congratulated all stakeholders for the institute's success story.
