Meghalaya: Police apprehend drug peddlers in Ri Bhoi, seize heroin worth Rs 52 lakh
 

NONGPOH:

Ri Bhoi Police, on Wednesday, apprehended three individuals near Umsning Bypass and seized heroin worth over Rs 52 lakh from their possession
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the vehicle (ML05 S6275) at Umsning Bypass road.
Upon thorough checking of the vehicle, police recovered the contraband in sealed packets.
According to police sources, the three suspects hail from Mizoram, West Bengal and Assam.
