Meghalaya: Minor girl rescued from Assam, one held
The accused was arrested by Ri Bhoi police and further interrogation is ongoing.

In a search operation conducted by the Ri Bhoi Police, a minor girl was rescued after she was allegedly kidnapped by one miscreant from Assam.
According to sources, it was informed that on June 5, a minor girl aged 14 years was kidnapped from Ri Bhoi District by one Ajay Patar (21), who took her to Morigaon in Assam.
Acting on inputs, a search operation was conducted by Ri Bhoi police and the minor girl was rescued on June 6, from a residence at Morigaon in Assam.
The accused was arrested by Ri Bhoi police and further interrogation is ongoing.
