Meghalaya govt inducts 38 newly appointed MCS officers

The Meghalaya government, on Thursday, formally inducted 38 newly appointed officers of the Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) who will serve the state as civil servants.

The induction ceremony was held in the presence of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma and other dignitaries.

The Chief Minister congratulated the new officers for taking an oath to serve the state and said, "Today we inducted 38 newly appointed officers of the Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS). I congratulate them for reaching the first step towards serving Meghalaya and its people."

The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts the MCS exams to select state-level officers who will serve the state government under various capacities.
