Meghalaya: Covid pinches NEIGRIHMS' staff, over 100 staff infected

SHILLONG:

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), over a press release issued on Monday, said that almost 125 staff of the hospital including doctors, nurses, ward attendants and others have either tested positive or are under quarantine due to COVID-19 Infections.

Given the cases being reported from the medical institute, the administration has taken adequate steps to deliver appropriate patient care to all COVID positive cases including other routine emergency cases admitted at NEIGRIHMS. 

NEIGRIHMS will continue its patients care and OPD services for the benefit of all Northeast people during these difficult times, the hospital said over a press release.
