Shillong schools fare well in ICSE and ISC exams 

This year, board exams could not be held at all as COVID-19 cases had surged in the country during March-May. This year, marks have been assessed in a non-traditional way.

SHILLONG: 

Pine Mount School and Meghalaya Police Public School in Shillong have registered a cent per cent pass percentage in both the ICSE  Class X and ISC Class XII  Examination, the result of which was declared on Saturday. 

The ICSE toppers from Pine Mount include Ishita Tharad who secured 96.2, Sahima Sachdev 94.6 and Naveda Noor Kharnongrum 93.8. 

In ISC Humanities, Riiaka N Chyne secured 95 per cent, Pearl Aimesha Diengdoh 94.75 and Hadassah Bajanai Sumer 94.25. 

In ISC Science, Candida Alicia Dkhar secured 90 per cent, Cassandra Daniell Shabong 85.75 and Ivilin Manner 84.75 while in ISC Commerce, Sairupa Bani Bareh scored 81.75 per cent, Kim Kim Cathyrine Khongsai 69.25 and Ruenna Rachelle Kharrubon  68.75. 

In the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) results, the pass percentage among class 12 students is 99.76 per cent. While the pass percentage among class 10 students was 99.98 per cent. The result was announced on Saturday and is currently available on cisce.org
