Businessman Samborlang Diengdoh to contest 2023 polls from Pynthorumkhrah

With a promise of good governance to the public, owner of Kre Jingim Lina service station Samborlang Diengdoh has decided to contest 2023 election as an independent candidate from Pynthorumkhrah constituency.

"I assure good governance to the public. I am already an established businessman, and I have entered not to make a fortune in politics,” said Diengdoh.

The businessman-turned-politician also added that he will be coming out with an election manifesto by November. “I don't want to contest from a party as I have my own principles,” he said. 

With the motto “youth is power”, Diengdoh, who will be contesting in the state assembly elections for the first time, will be up against two veterans - Member of Legislative Assembly from Bharatiya Janata Party A.L. Hek and Congressman P.N. Syiem - in the constituency.
