Manipur Govt makes COVID-19 negative test report mandatory for people entering state

IMPHAL:

Deputy Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Soiminlian Lengen, has informed that all persons entering Manipur from April 18 onwards will be required to show a negative RT-PCR/ TrueNat/CB-NAAT COVID-19 test report taken within 72 hours.

"Entry to the state will only be allowed on the production of a COVID-19 negative report," a circular issued by the Health Department read.

The Army/CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) units have also been instructed to arrange for Covid-19 testing of their personnel entering Manipur.

Currently, all persons entering Manipur from high-risk states of the country are being tested at the Imphal airport.
