Manipur: Assam Rifles recovers cache of arms and ammunition in Imphal

IMPHAL: 

The Keithalmanbi Battalion of Assam Rifles on Friday recovered huge stocks of arms and ammunition in Imphal, Manipur. The recovered items include one AK47, two CMGs, two 0.32 mm Pistol, two 0.22 mm Pistol, eight assorted magazines, thirty-six rounds and explosives from Tmongbung Village in Imphal District, Manipur.

Earlier, the troops apprehended a cadre of KNA ( SoO Group) from Moreh Town, and in a separate operation, the force recovered one 9mm Pistol, two Chinese hand grenades and assorted ammunition near BP-76 in Moreh District in Manipur.
