Two illegal band saw mills were seized by the Forest Range Officer at Barpeta Road in Barpeta district on Monday.

Two illegal band saw mills were seized by the Forest Range Officer at Barpeta Road in Barpeta district on Monday.
The FRO and his personnel detected and seized the band saw mills operating at Banglai village falling under Sarbhog Beat Office and brought to the departmental safe custody.
It may be noted, Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya had issued a strict directive to the officials of the department to intensify the drive against illegal band saw mills.
