Male rhino found dead in Kaziranga

GOLAGHAT:
The mortal remains of an adult male rhino were discovered near a water body inside the Kaziranga National Park in Assam on Wednesday.
The officials stated that the poachers shot the animal dead three to four days ago perhaps it was spotted on Tuesday, with its horn missing.
The post-mortem report indicated a case of poaching, with a bullet mark found on the animal's body.
According to sources, this is the first incident of poaching in the current year likely to be registered.
