Assam: Drug peddler arrested in Dibrugarh; contraband recovered
Police also recovered 44 grams of suspected brown sugar and 15 grams of suspected heroin.

DIBRUGARH:
Dibrugarh police on Wednesday arrested a couple involved in drug peddling activities from the Graham Bazar area of Dibrugarh.
Police also recovered 44 grams of suspected brown sugar and 15 grams of suspected heroin from their possession.
Based on specific information, Dibrugarh Police led by DSP (HQ) AJ Baruah launched an operation near Polo ground area of Graham Bazar and nabbed two drugs peddlers namely Wasim Hussain and his wife Neha Hussain.
"Wasim Hussain is a veteran drug peddler. We have arrested around 30 drug peddlers recently. Our action against drugs will continue," said Dibrugarh SP Shwetank Mishra.
