Assam: Oil India Limited donates ambulance to Dibrugarh's Tengakhat MG Model Hospital

The vehicle was handed over to the hospital under the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

DIBRUGARH:

Continuing its commitment towards ensuring healthcare and community welfare in operational areas, Oil India Limited (OIL) donated a Maruti EECO ambulance to Dibrugarh's Tengakhat MG Model Hospital on Tuesday. 

The vehicle was handed over to the hospital under the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Officials from OIL and Tengakhat MG Model Hospital attended the brief ceremony wherein the ambulance was handed over to the management of the hospital.

Speaking about OIL's initiative during the pandemic, the Deputy General Manager (CSR & CC) of OIL said that the company is extending its support to the healthcare sector through its collaboration with the government and other stakeholders.

"The Ambulance will help Tengakhat MG Model Hospital which is also a 24x7 delivery point for providing emergency healthcare services to the people from Tengakhat, Panitola, Sissia Bokuloni and other areas,” Hazarika said.

It may be mentioned that recently OIL had donated an ambulance to the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh.
