Assam Minister inaugurates 75-bedded COVID Care Centre in Dibrugarh

The Arogya COVID Care Centre is has been set up by Murleidhor Jalan Foundation and Shree Vishwanath Marwari Databya in association with the Dibrugarh District Administration.

DIBRUGARH:

Minister for Urban Development and Irrigation Ashok Singhal, on Monday, inaugurated the 75-bedded Arogya COVID Care Centre at Jalan Nagar in Dibrugarh.

The Arogya COVID Care Centre has been set up by Murleidhor Jalan Foundation and Shree Vishwanath Marwari Databya in association with the Dibrugarh District Administration.

Singhal while inaugurating the centre, lauded the role of various organizations in fighting the COVID pandemic. He appreciated the ambience, infrastructure and natural surroundings of the centre and said that it will help the district cope up with the COVID crisis. 

This centre is equipped with oxygen cylinders, concentrators and other medical facilities. 

The management of the centre informed that vegetarian meals will be provided to the patients at the facility.

Additional Chief Secretary, Manindar Singh, Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner, Pallav Gopal Jha, former Lahoal MLA Rituparna Baruah, State Housing Board Vice Chairman, Subhash Dutta, DDA Chairman, Ashim Hazarika were also present during the inauguration.
