Assam journalist Kalyan Barooah dies of COVID-19 complications
The Delhi correspondent for The Assam Tribune, passed away after suffering multiple COVID-related complications

Kalyan Barooah, the Delhi correspondent for The Assam Tribune, passed away after suffering multiple COVID-related complications at 8:40 am on Saturday.
His wife, senior journalist Nilakshi Bhattacharyya had passed away in a Gurgaon hospital on Friday.
"His condition was grim for over a week, and we were simply hoping against hope. Delhi media has lost its go-to man on North East India. A friend since 35 yrs," filmmaker Utpal Borpujari said.
