Assam: Dibrugarh RSS unit organise vaccination drive, 250 people inoculated

DIBRUGARH:

The Dibrugarh unit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have successfully vaccinated around 250 people during their two-day camp vaccination camp organised at Keshab Bhawan.

"The COVID-19 vaccination camp was organised with all COVID protocols in place. We had made all the arrangements for the senior citizens during the two-day camp," said a member of RSS, Dibrugarh.

The members of the RSS have also conducted several rounds of sanitization drive in the tea garden areas of Dibrugarh, they said

Several COVID testing camps were set up by the members at Chabua circle in Dibrugarh.

Meanwhile, five oxygen concentrators were also distributed to the people in the area, which was supported by Sewa International and Sewa Bharati Purbanchal.

In addition to the above social initiatives, the members of the RSS unit of Dibrugarh have also come forward to help the elderly people to purchase medicines and other essential commodities during the COVID imposed restrictions.
