An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale jolts Sonitpur on May 30.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at 02:23 pm.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 16 km with a latitude of 26.69 north and longitude of 92.39 east.
No casualty/property damage was reported.
