Tengam Celine Koyu crowned Kingfisher Miss Arunachal 2021

Tengam Celine Koyu, from East Siang district, was crowned ‘Kingfisher Miss Arunachal 2021’ at the Pasighat Outdoor Stadium on April 3.

Riyya Riba from Lepa Reda and Hibu Abyang from Lower Subansiri bagged the first and second runners-up titles respectively.

The Arunachal Guild for Cultural Integration (AGCI) organised the event under the aegis of the Department of Youth Affairs, Arunachal Pradesh.

Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Kiren Rijiju, who attended the event as the chief guest, said that through this platform, the contestants proved their versatility, talent, confidence and poise.

“I am proud to witness their outstanding performance,” he said.

Besides this, the event also treated the audience to a myriad of performances, including the Tapu war dance, music by Arunachal Idol Alar Dupak, Lukham Brothers & Tani Daughters crew and choreography by classical dance crews.

Meanwhile, the Chief Patron of the Miss Arunachal Organisation, Pema Khandu, handed over Rs 2 lakh on behalf of the organisation to the daughter of former member (L) Techi Meena Lishi.
