Mild quake hits Meghalaya

SHILLONG: 

A mild earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter Scale struck Meghalaya on Saturday, May 8, around 6.50 pm. 

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the epicentre of the 3.1 magnitude quake, with a depth of 16 km, was traced at a place located in East Khasi Hills district.
