India registers less than 40 thousand COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

The Union Health Ministry informed that India recorded 39,796 new COVID-19 cases, including 723 deaths in the last 24 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 53rd consecutive day, informed the Union Health Ministry.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the country's recovery rate has reached 97.11 per cent, and the weekly positivity rate stands at 2.40 per cent.

The Ministry further informed that about 35.28 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
