NEW DELHI:

India bagged the 25th spot in the 2021 Best Countries Report - a ranking and analysis project by US News & World Report.

The rankings, developed in partnership with BAV Group and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, measure global perceptions of the world’s largest economies, gathering perceptions of 78 nations worldwide.

India is the world’s second-most-populous nation and considered one of the best up-and-coming economies at No. 2 in the movers ranking.
Canada takes the top spot overall while Japan and Germany take the second and third spot, respectively.

“Nations are impacted on many critical fronts by how they are perceived globally – from foreign relations to international business to tourism. These perceptions are ever-evolving in a rapidly changing world,” said Kim Castro, editor and chief content officer at US News.

“The 2021 Best Countries analysis combines data and storytelling to explore how countries compare on a host of global issues,” Castro added.
