NEW DELHI:

After submitting its evaluation criteria for board exams, the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced that that the class 10 and 12 results will be declared by July 20 and July 31 respectively.

Explaining the evaluation criteria submitted to the Supreme Court, the CBSE stated that as exams are not being held there are odd circumstances in front of the board and that the students must be properly evaluated.

Further, the board has formed a committee and developed a criterion for results that reflects similar results as students would have obtained had there been physical examination.

The board has stated that if students are not satisfied with the results then such students have the option to appear physically for the examination, once the circumstances allow conducting the exams.
