1. Manipur: Wild animal's attack on cows creates panic in Kuilong village 

Residents of Kuilong village in Tamenglong district of Manipur were left in a panic situation, after a tiger attacked a herd of cows in the jungle near the village, killing at least three of them.

2. Arunachal govt forbids entry of unvaccinated persons in the state

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, on Thursday, approved a new scheme ‘India COVID-19 Emergency Response & Health System Preparedness Package: Phase-II’ amounting to Rs 23,123 crore for the financial year of 2021-22.

Amid the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases, Japan has announced that the Tokyo Olympics slated to begin from July 23 will take place without spectators.
