Shooting in US' Maryland leaves two injured, suspect dead

Immediately after the shooting, police officers were called to the location in the northeast part of the city to bring the situation under control.

MARYLAND:

Two people were injured in a shooting at Fort Detrick in Maryland, United States, on Tuesday morning, Fredrick Police Department informed.

"Currently, there are two victims and, one suspect is down," the Frederick Police Department said on Twitter.

Immediately after the shooting, police officers were called to the location in the northeast part of the city to bring the situation under control.

The city is under vigil and, the condition is stable, stated the police department.

Shooting incidents have become a regular affair in the US, with 2021 reporting six cases across different states.
