Tripura: Children Film Festival held in state

Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath today inaugurated a 3-day-long Children Film Festival initiated by Department of Information & Cultural Affairs which was held at Nazrul Kalakshetra auditorium in Agartala.

Administrative officer of Children's Film Society India, Rajesh Goyel, Chairperson of Tripura Children Protection Rights Commission, Nilima Ghosh along with other dignitaries were also present at the event.

The film festival which began today will feature the screening of 10 children films in Hindi, Bengali and English languages at Nazrul Kalakshetra Auditorium and Rupashi Multiplex's Hall No-2 and No-3.

The Children's Film Society India and Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department of Tripura government will also organize a three-day long workshop for children on mega script writing, acting, 2-D animation and on film direction. The timings for these workshops will be from 11 AM to 2 PM.
