This tribe in Nagaland is all set to make it to Guinness Book of World Records

KOHIMA | April 1, 2019:

As part of the annual Aoleang Monyu celebration cum Mini-Horbill Festival, the Konyak tribe is all set to make it to Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest Traditional Dance.

Under the theme Empowering Women for Cultural Heritage, the third day of the festival, which is on Friday, will be focused on Konyak women during which a troupe of about five thousand Konyak women will dance to the ceremonial song in traditional attire for least five minutes.

This mega event is being organized by the Konyak Union and other organizations with an aim to preserve the cultural heritage of the people as well to promote tourism.
