Sports Minister Rathore grants 5 lakh to Manipur fencer

NEW DELHI, June 1, 2018: Sports minster Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has sanctioned
Rs 5 lakh from the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Welfare Fund for Sportspersons to fencer Kh.Kalambia Chanu for medical treatment.
"Chanu who hails from Manipur is suffering from multiple Sclerosis and could not continue her sports and living in indigent conditions," a ministry release said.
