Meghalaya: Residents of WKH village find decomposed, headless body

A headless, decomposed body was found by residents of Nongjri, West Khasi Hills. The body was said to have been found in a nearby forest.
The deceased has been identified as Nestarius Sohphoh, 35), of Nongjri village.
Sohphoh was reported missing since June 5 but no missing complaint was filed.
The police have ruled the incident as a homicide and suspects a fellow villager, identified as Joshua Marak may have been involved in the murder.
A case has been registered under section 302 IPC. The investigation is still ongoing.
