Meghalaya: Man injured in accident with police vehicle in WKH

A person was injured in an accident that took place between his vehicle and a police gypsy at Sohwanthiang village on NH-44E in West Khasi Hills.
The driver of the Alto, identified as John Robert Nongsiej, sustained injuries from the accident and was taken to Nongstoin Civil Hospital for treatment.
The police vehicle (ML02 0252) was said to have been escorting Chief Investor Promotion Centre Anoop Shrivastava to Nongstoin.
The matter is still under investigation.
