Meghalaya: Curfew in certain areas of Shillong relaxed for 7 hours

SHILLONG, June 3, 2018: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District issued an order today informing that the curfew has been relaxed in few parts of curfew bound areas under Section 144 CrPC.

The curfew bound areas falling under Lumdiengjri Police Station which includes Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission,  Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavila, Qualapaty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hill, Cantonment, Mawlong Hat including Cantonment Beat House Areas (Excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi Bridge) have been relaxed for 7 hours for 3rd June, 2018 with effect from 8 AM to 3 PM and is promulgated again with effect from 3 PM of the same day and until further orders.
