FOOD | An easy recipe of Red Chilli pickle with Tamarind

This easy mouth watering pickle is a must try. This pickle is simple and absolutely deliciously and prepared with least ingredients.


  1. Red Chillies 100 grams
  2. Turmeric powder
  3. Seedless tamarind pulps
  4. Salt
  5. Garlic
  6. Dried red chillies
  7. Onion seeds
  8. Fenugreek powder/whole seeds


  • To begin with wash red chillies and pad it dry, put the whole of it in a mortar and pestle and grind it along with salt, seedless tamarind pulp and 1/2 turmeric powder.
  • Heat three tbsp of oil in a pan, add onion seeds, fenugreek roasted and grinded into a powder, add 3-4 dried red chiilies, add crushed as well as few cloves of garlic.
  • Once the mixture in the pan cools down pour it down to the grounded chilli mixture, shake it well.

Preserve it in jar and can be enjoyed after 3-4 days
