Assam: Three child labourers rescued in Sivasagar, two held
GUWAHATI, July 19, 2018: Three child labourers were rescued on Wednesday, by the Sivasagar District Child Protection task force along with the District Labour Officer from Nazira town in Sivasagar district, Assam.
The two accused, who had engaged these child labourers were identified as Abdul Rasid, Ajizur Hussain and Dinauddin Ahmed hailing from Nazira, the duo were booked by the team of police.
Sources said that the district task force, acting on secret tip-off had raided the houses and was able to rescue the children. Under section CHL/(PR) Act-1986, three seperate cases have also been registered in Nazira police station.
