Assam: Man from Tripura held with 38 kg of ganja at Railway Station

GUWAHATI, July 4, 2018: One man has been arrested on Tuesday by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and had also seized 38 kg of ganja from the Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express, at the Guwahati Railway Station.
In a routine checking conducted by GRP inside the Dn Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express at Platform Number 1 of Guwahati Railway Station, 38 kgs of ganja were recovered from the possession of a passenger identified as Suburaj Debbarma.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that Debbarma, is a resident of Sidhai area in West Tripura district, he was carrying the consignment from Agartala and was expected to deliver it at Katihar.
