Tripura youth injured in python attack

AGARTALA:

A youth identified as Mekzil Marak was seriously injured after a python attacked him near the forest office in Kalkalia, Tripura.

Locals heard his cries for help and rushed to his aid.

They were able to subdue the snake and took Marak to the nearby Bishalgarh Hospital, where doctors referred him to IGM Hospital.

According to locals, there are several snakes in the forested areas of Kalkalia.

Marak was part of a group of workers tasked with clearing out the bushes near the forest office.
