Tripura police arrest one member from NLFT

AGARTALA:

Tripura Police on Friday arrested one member of the militant outfit, National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) from Teliamuara of Khowai District.

According to the superintendent of police, Khowai District, Kiran Kumar, the police launched an operation after receiving information about the movement of a suspected NLFT member, Montu Debbarma (28).

Police also seized a Suzuki Alto car bearing registration number TR01Y-0345, and cash amounting to Rs 35,383 from his possession, suspected to be extortion money.
