Tripura CM promises to develop District Council areas ahead of TTAADC polls

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, on Monday, announced that his government will provide free drinking water to every household by 2022 and that they would connect the entire ADC area with a good road.

The CM made the announcements ahead of the District Council Polls.

While addressing a felicitation programme at Shantir Bazar in South Tripura district, the CM felicitated the tribal community chiefs and encouraged the tribal voters to take part in the electoral process.

Highlighting the achievements of the government, Deb said, “During the three years of BJP reign, the state government has provided 25 thousand homes under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna and also plans to provide 70 thousand homes within the next two years.”

With the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) election around the corner, the BJP-led government is trying to attract tribal voters with the help of such programs.
