Tripura ADC poll: NCT merges with INPT
AGARTALA | March 14, 2020:
Ahead of the forthcoming ADC poll the National Conference of Tripura (NCT) a regional indigenous political party of Tripura has merged with Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra (INPT) today.
The president of the NCT, Animesh Debbarma said, "I was with the INPT before and I came back to the pavilion again. Today the NCT party has merged with the INPT and the party will be re-named as Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra (United). I am very thankful to the chief of INPT Bijoy Kumar Hragnkhawl, Jagadish Debbarma because they have respected the party which I floated 13 years back."
The chief of the INPT Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl believes that the step was an advantageous step and the decision will create a new history in the politics of Tripura mainly in hilly areas and claimed that it will have an impact on rural and in Urban areas as well.
