Tripura: 16-yr-old dies after house collapses due to heavy rainfall; Death toll rises to 13

Due to heavy rainfall and landslides at Amarpur sub-division of Gomati district, a 16 year old girl Mary Kaiping lost her life and her parents were also severely injured. Her father's name is Subarelian Kaiping (45) and her mother's name is Puruhai Kaiping (30).
According to the locals, the mud house of the family collapsed when they were sleeping due to heavy rainfall that has been pouring since early morning today and the whole family was stuck under the house.When the locals came to know about the incident they immediately informed the police. The Fire brigade along with police and CRPF soldiers after getting the information rushed to the spot immediately and after hours of efforts they could take out the entire family from beneath the broken house. But despite their efforts they were unable to save Mary Kaiping.
Both Subarelian Kaiping and Puruhai Kaiping (30) parents of Mary Kaiping are severly injured and are now undergoing treatment. The death toll of the state due to rainfall is now 13.
