AGARTALA:

The Central Government has undertaken the 'Vista Project' to build a new parliament building and residence for the Prime Minister leading former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar to criticise the Centre at a book launch programme at the Agartala Press Club on Monday.

"While the country is dying without food, the Central Government decides to build a new house for the Prime Minister during this crucial time when the country is facing Covid," Sarkar said.

The former CM also raised a question of what would happen to the rest of the 130 crore people.

"Children, women and the elderly were the most affected during the pandemic and many other countries have started giving coronavirus vaccines. But our government says it will vaccinate 300 million people," he said.
